What are the BMI requirements for weight loss in Canada?

BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a measurement that uses your height and weight to estimate whether you’re in a healthy weight range for your height. There are a variety of eligibility factors that your healthcare practitioner will assess. However at minimum, those who have a BMI over 30 or a BMI 27-30 and a medical comorbidity such as diabetes, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure is required.
