Healthy lifestyle tips while taking Mounjaro

Mounjaro should be taken in combination with physical activity and a healthy diet. While taking Mounjaro, you should try to:

Engage in regular physical activity

Resistance exercise (such as lifting weights or using resistance bands) and aerobic exercise (such as walking, jogging or biking) are both important. Aim to incorporate a mix of both into your weekly routine.

Eat high-fibre and healthy foods

Have a variety of high-fibre and healthy foods every day, such as nuts, fruits, vegetables, lean animal proteins, and small portions of grains and starches. Limit your consumption of high-fat, sugary and processed foods.

Eat slowly and stop when you’re full

Slowing down your eating can help you recognize when your body is full. Eating more than you need can lead to your body storing the extra energy as fat, causing weight gain.

Drink water and limit alcohol

When you’re thirsty, drink water instead of pop, juice or other sugary drinks. Limit your consumption of alcohol, which has the potential to cause weight gain.
