Tirzepatide needs to stay between 2 to 8°C in order to be stable. Please refrigerate your medication once you receive it and only take it out when you are about to administer an injection. Do not freeze your medication. The KwikPen can be stored for 30 days at room temperature once taken out of the refrigerator, given that temperatures do not exceed 30˚C. How Much Medication Will I Receive at Once?
Your first prescription will last 12 weeks. We’ll ship a one-month supply of Kwikpens once you’re approved, then every four weeks after receiving your prescription. Shipping Conditions
Your medication will be shipped to you right before it is due. If you find a melted gel pack inside, don’t worry. This is normal and expected; the internal temperature of your medication should still be within the suitable range. How to Check the Stability of Your Medication
You will be able to see the medication liquid in your tirzepatide KwikPen. If the liquid is clear to slightly yellow, your medication is stable and ready to be used. Your medication should only be taken out of the fridge right before injection.

How to Properly Dispose of Your Medication
Safe disposal of your tirzepatide KwikPen is important. You’ll be provided with a sharps disposal kit and proper instructions if you are using a Felix Pharmacy. Do not share your needles or syringes with other people. This can expose you and others to serious harm or infection. Make sure that you’re safely disposing of your used KwikPen needle tips (after it has been removed from the pen) using the sharps disposal container provided to you with your first shipment. KwikPens (once the needle tip has been removed from the pen) can be disposed of in the sharps container as well. If you are not using a Felix pharmacy, please ask your pharmacist for a sharps disposal container when you pick up your first prescription.
