Reminder: how to store Ozempic
Remember, to remain stable and effective, the medication in your pen must remain between 2 to 30°C. If the temperature in your home exceeds this range, it’s best to store your pen in the fridge.
The medication will be stable for up to 56 days after it’s been dispensed if stored within the given range.
What to do if you skip a dose
Skipping a week or forgetting to take a dose can happen. Here’s what to do if you miss a dose:
- If it’s been 5 days or less since you missed a dose, take your skipped dose as soon as you remember. Then, take your next dose on your regular schedule.
- If it’s been 5 days or more since you missed a dose, skip that dose altogether. Then, take your next dose on your regular schedule. Do not increase your dose or take an extra one.
