How does online type 2 diabetes care work?

After you’ve completed your assessment with Felix, and if you’ve yet to receive a diagnosis for type 2 diabetes, your practitioner may suggest additional testing or discussions, so that they can ensure you find the most effective and appropriate type 2 diabetes management plan.

With that in mind, in addition to your online assessment, this will also involve:

• Getting labwork (blood tests) done to check your blood sugar levels
• Discussing your diagnosis with your practitioner, as well as talking about different type 2 diabetes treatment plans, including lifestyle modifications that can assist with helping to control blood sugar stability
• Having periodic follow-ups with your practitioner, so that they can continue to provide you with support and guidance throughout your type 2 diabetes treatment and management process

SIDE NOTE: We should mention here that currently Felix isn’t offering care for type 1 diabetes. At this time, we’re only offering care for type 2 diabetes and prediabetes.
