Ontario
There’s quite a wide range of pricing for Zepbound in Ontario, ranging from as low as around $300 per month to upwards of $600+ per month, depending on where you’re getting your prescription from and your prescribed dosage. It also depends on whether you have private insurance that can help cover some of the monthly cost.
Recently, Eli Lilly (the company that makes Zepbound for Canada) reduced its prices by around 20% to help compete with the generic market that’s rising across the country, including within Ontario.

Manitoba
Like Ontario, Manitoba’s cost for Zepbound ranges quite significantly – anywhere from $275 per month to $600+ per month, based on the specific pharmacy that you’re ordering your Zepbound from in Manitoba.
As there is currently no provincial coverage for Zepbound in Manitoba, all of the costs for these medications will unfortunately have to come out of pocket, unless you have a private insurance company that happens to cover it.

British Columbia
British Columbia has one of the most affordable out-of-pocket ranges for Zepbound costs in Canada, with prices for Zepbound here ranging from around $325-$450 per month, depending on the pharmacy you’re using, as well as what your prescribed dosage may be.
Surprisingly, on August 28th, 2026, the Canada Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) recommended that Zepbound be reimbursed by public drug plans; however, at this time, there has been no change in provincial coverage eligibility.

Alberta
The cost of Zepbound in Alberta is one of the cheapest in the country, with prices sitting just under $300 per month for treatments, with small variances based on the specific pharmacy that you’re using to fill and purchase your prescriptions.

Nova Scotia
The average cost of Zepbound in Nova Scotia ranges pretty widely, starting at around $275 per month and going as high as $700 per month, depending on the pharmacy that you’re getting your prescription from, as well as the dosage that you’ve been prescribed.

Newfoundland & Labrador
On average, the cost of Zepbound in Newfoundland and Labrador can range from $300 to $540+ per month, based on the usual factors (i.e., whether or not you have any insurance coverage, as well as your prescribed dosage).

On average, the cost of Zepbound in Quebec ranges anywhere from $320 to $570 per month, depending on things like your prescribed dosage and any potential insurance coverage you may have that can help reduce your monthly premiums.
Accessing Canadian provinces like Quebec has been an uphill battle for Eli Lilly, the company behind Zepbound production, which is part of the reason why the costs are on the higher end compared to certain other provinces, as well as your chosen location of purchase.
Why does the cost for Zepbound vary by province?
Each province has its own pricing mechanism, which is the major method that determines what the cost of the medication will be in that region.
Unfortunately, coverage to reduce the monthly cost of Zepbound in Canada by province really depends on your individual insurance provider, as well as the plan that you currently have access to.
