Accessing Zepbound® in Edmonton
It’s hard enough finding time to go out and set aside time to see a practitioner without having to factor in a commute as well, but unfortunately, that’s an issue for many people living in Edmonton. While it varies by region, for instance, 99.4% of people living in the Edmonton-Rutherford region who required hospital outpatient care in 2024 had to travel to a different part of Edmonton, just to access medical care.
Felix is removing the stressors in Edmonton for accessing medical services you need, from the comfort and privacy of your own home. And with responses to requests within 24 hours, we’re giving you the ability to get healthcare on your schedule. It’s just a couple of the ways we’re helping you take control of your health, so you can get back to living life on your terms – the way it should be.
SIDE NOTE: Felix does not offer emergency healthcare services. If you’re dealing with a medical emergency, you should always call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital ER.
General Information
Zepbound is a brand name for the generic medication tirzepatide. These two medications contain the exact same ingredients, so it’s important to note the only real difference between them is their name.
When you buy Zepbound orders in Edmonton, they will arrive as preloaded injections with instructions on how to use these treatments at home. As well, your practitioner will explain how to use your treatments during your virtual Zepbound consultation.
If you still haven’t requested a consultation, you should complete a secure online assessment, and one of our practitioners will get back to you as soon as they can to go over their treatment recommendations (usually within 24 hours).
The first thing that you need to do, if you’re thinking about requesting to get Zepbound orders in Edmonton from Felix, is to submit your health assessment information, so that one of our practitioners can review it.
They’ll then respond to you to have a virtual Zepbound consultation, where they’ll discuss what they believe would be the best treatment options for your personalized needs.
When they determine Zepbound is available in Edmonton for you, they’ll be able to provide you with the prescription you’ll need to then buy Zepbound orders in Edmonton from Felix and our pharmacy partners.
It’s hard for us to be able to generalize the answer for this question, because it will be based on a few outside factors that can impact the price of Zepbound for some patients.
These factors could include things like whether or not you have any insurance coverage to cover some of the cost of getting Zepbound in Edmonton, as well as what your specific prescribed dosage may be.
Not to worry though, because your practitioner will be happy to go over the expected cost of Zepbound treatments for you, when these other elements are factors into the equation.

Sub-copy: Felix is glad to serve patients in Edmonton who are over the age of 18. However, whether or not you’ll be eligible to get Zepbound orders in Edmonton will depend on your clinicians treatment suggestions, based on your health and medical history.
If you’d like to get Zepbound orders in Edmonton, you can start by filling out and sending in your health assessment information for one of our clinicians to review.
When they agree that Zepbound is available in Edmonton for you, they’ll be able to provide you with a prescription for it. You can then use that prescription to order Zepbound online with Felix.
Sub-copy: Look no further, because Felix has a team of licensed healthcare practitioners that are able to provide prescriptions for Zepbound in Edmonton.
The caveat is that you need to submit a short online assessment for one of our practitioners to review, so they can ensure that Zepbound would be a safe and effective treatment for you.
When Zepbound is not available to you in Edmonton, your clinician may be able to suggest an alternative to Zepbound that could be safer and/or more effective for you.
Sub-copy: This question will have to be answered by your practitioner during your virtual Zepbound consultation, because it will vary from patient-to-patient.
They’ll review your health information, as well as your current needs and any health conditions you may be facing, so that they can create an individualized treatment plan.
If they think Zepbound orders in Edmonton could be a beneficial part of your overall treatment plan, they can write you a prescription for it.
When your clinician determines that Zepbound is available for you in Edmonton, you’ll go through a total of 4 easy-to-follow steps, including:
Start by completing a short online assessment. It literally only takes a few minutes to do, and you can do it anytime that works for you – day or night.
A practitioner from our team will get back to you to have a virtual Zepbound consultation and discuss treatment options. Usually, they’ll respond to your request within 24 hours.
If approved, your practitioner can help you order Zepbound online in Edmonton from our pharmacy partners and have them prepare it for you. This takes about 2-3 business days.
Then Felix will deliver your Zepbound in Edmonton (at no cost), so that we can make sure your treatments get to you quickly and safely. This final step takes roughly 2-3 business days as well.
Altogether, you could get Zepbound orders in Edmonton within 5-7 business days of making your request with Felix, if approved!
Yes, because they are chemically identical treatments, the only difference between Zepbound and tirzepatide is their names.
Zepbound is one of the brand names under which tirzepatide is being sold currently, while tirzepatide is the generic name for this medication, which is not currently available for sale.
Remember: always follow the directions that are provided to you directly by your practitioner during your virtual Zepbound consultation. Instructions will also be provided with your prescription packaging to show you how to safely and effectively use your preloaded injections at home.
With that in mind, the recommended places to use your preloaded injections include: your stomach (front of your abdomen), upper arms, and upper thighs. Don’t inject Zepbound directly into muscles or veins.
Also, never use injections that have expired, are frozen or have been previously frozen, or have become discoloured or cloudy.
SIDE NOTE: Don’t take your Zepbound injections more often than they are prescribed to you, as it will NOT improve the effects of your treatments. In fact, it will only increase your risks of experiencing negative side effects.
For as long as you’re prepared to use them, or until your practitioner believes that you no longer need them.
The truth is that Zepbound treatments are designed to be used long-term, so it’s very unlikely you’ll only be on Zepbound for a few weeks or months.
During your virtual Zepbound consultation, talk to your practitioner if you have any concerns about using Zepbound in the long-term, and they can go over how the treatment works, as well as what to expect with you.
Haven’t talked to a practitioner yet and still need a prescription to buy Zepbound orders in Edmonton? Send us your short online assessment today, and one of our practitioners will get back to you (usually within 24 hours), to discuss potential treatment options based on your unique needs.

I recently moved to a smaller city in British Columbia. I had a family doctor in my last community but after moving I no longer have one. Felix Health has been a great resource. The clinicians are consistently kind, thoughtful, encouraging and clearly dedicated to making sure that my overall well-being is the focus – not just my physical self

If you are completing a visit in the mental health or weight loss categories, your healthcare practitioner may require a phone or video call to discuss your medical profile further during the assessment process.
After creating an account, you will complete a medical assessment for evaluation by one of the Felix healthcare practitioners.
During your assessment, you will have the opportunity to send your practitioner questions via secure messaging.
In most cases, practitioners will complete your assessment with secure messaging alone but sometimes they may determine you require an audio or video visit and/or further diagnostic testing to help determine the best treatment plan for you.
If your practitioner has determined a prescription treatment is appropriate, they will approve your visit and write you a prescription. Our pharmacy will then ship your prescription to your home.
You’ll be able to message your healthcare practitioner if you have questions or want to make changes to your treatment at any time.
You can expect to receive a response from a healthcare practitioner within 48 hours of submission. Delays may occur at high volume periods or over statutory holidays – we thank you for your patience and look forward to supporting you.
Great, you’ve already taken the first step! Next, a healthcare practitioner will review your assessment and if necessary, will send you a link to book an online audio or video appointment with them. This appointment will help them determine the best treatment plan for you. If your healthcare practitioner thinks you will benefit from an available medication, they will write you a prescription. Our pharmacy can ship your medication to your home if you would like your medication dispensed through the Felix Pharmacy network.

We’ll contact you via email if your package is returned to us!
For most treatments, your meds will be destroyed 1 month after your fill date should you fail to respond to Felix Customer Support or contact the partner pharmacy. Insurance
Treatment coverage varies greatly between different insurance plans.
The good news is that if you are covered, Felix can bill your insurer directly, and then process your treatment plan at no additional cost to you. We recommend that you upload your private and/or provincial benefit card during the online visit so that our pharmacy partner can apply any coverage you are eligible for before processing your treatment plan.
Insurance coverage for treatment plans through Felix doesn’t include the cost of your visit.
Go to Billing where you can add or update your insurance information on file.
You will find the official receipt for your medication costs within your package from the pharmacy. This receipt can be used to submit a manual claim directly to your insurance/benefits provider. Future refills will be direct-billed directly to your insurance provider, once you have uploaded your insurance information from the Billing tab of your account.
The coverage you are eligible for will not be deducted until the pharmacy processes your refill, so the price you see in your profile is the estimated maximum medication cost before benefits. Once the pharmacy ships your meds, the actual cost will be displayed for the respective refill.
OHIP+ covers some birth control for eligible residents of Ontario who are under 25 years old and do not have private insurance. You can check if your birth control medication is covered here. Make sure to upload your Ontario health card during your online visit so our pharmacy partners can apply your coverage directly.
Medication coverage varies greatly between different plans, provinces, and has specific criteria that determine eligibility. For private insurance, we recommend contacting your benefits administrator with your details and the Drug Identification Number (DIN) and the drug name to determine your coverage.

Currently, asynchronous visits are not covered by insurance or provincial health plans so you will be charged a visit fee, depending on the category of treatment you are requesting.
Felix 101
Absolutely. Our online assessments have been designed to ask all the necessary questions required for diagnosis. We’ve worked with specialists to create an assessment process that can provide sufficient information for the healthcare practitioner to determine whether or not you are eligible for a prescription and craft an appropriate treatment plan.
No. Felix provides a faster, hassle-free way for you to get a treatment plan for certain conditions, but our service does not replace your primary care provider. For matters that extend beyond obtaining a lifestyle treatment safely and easily, we encourage you to consult your primary health practitioner in person — whether for checkups, personal health concerns, or to inform them about your current treatments or treatment plans.
Call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room immediately. Felix is not intended for medical emergencies. Once the emergency has been addressed or resolved, contact your prescribing practitioner to inform them of your experience as this may impact your current treatment plan.
Felix is Canada’s first truly integrated healthcare platform. We provide on-demand treatment for everyday health needs like weight loss, mental health, sexual health, and more. Founded in 2019, our digital-first approach to healthcare includes everything from diagnosis to prescription — all accessible from the comfort of home.
Anyone who is 18 years or older (16 or older for acne and birth control prescriptions), and is located in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan or Ontario. We cannot ship treatments outside of these provinces at this time.
Our Healthcare Practitioners
You will have the ability to chat with your designated Felix practitioner for the entirety of your prescription length. When your prescription is nearing completion, we will email you to submit a checkup visit so one of our prescribers can renew your prescription.
Our matching system is based on availability, so we can’t guarantee you’ll be paired with the same healthcare practitioner at your renewal visit.
Felix practitioners are unable to make referrals at this time. We suggest you speak with your family doctor or local walk-in clinic.
Your Felix practitioner will message you via secure instant message. You’ll receive an email when you have a new message and can respond to these from within your Felix account.
Our medical team and board members help oversee each of our treatments to ensure our medical assessments are thorough, safe, personalized, and provide best-in-class care. Our pharmacists provide treatment support through medication counselling and education.
They are all licensed, real Canadian healthcare practitioners! All online visits submitted via Felix are reviewed by them and they must be licensed in your province to prescribe you the medication. It is these healthcare practitioners, and not Felix, who determine whether or not to write you a prescription, as well as the appropriate dosage (where applicable).
