Are my STI test results private & confidential?

Felix always does everything we can to ensure that all of your medical information remains secure and confidential.

It is important to note, however, that cases of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), may be reported by law to the local public health authority in some provinces. This is only in the event of a positive test result.

These reports are kept strictly confidential, and they’re only shared with public health teams in an effort to prevent and monitor potential STI outbreaks.

In rare cases, the public health team may contact you directly if you receive a positive gonorrhea diagnosis, in order to ensure that you’ve informed your partner(s) about their risks of infection. To understand our full information practices, please refer to our privacy policy.
