Medication General FAQs

You will only pay for the drug when it becomes available again and is included in your shipment.

You can submit an early refill request in your patient account. If your medication is being dispensed through the Felix Pharmacy network, and you are prescribed multiple medications and/or over-the-counter products, please contact our customer support team at [email protected] so your fill can be prepared accordingly.

For any medical-related questions, we strongly recommend that you speak to the prescribing healthcare practitioner directly as they know what’s best for your health. You can do so by going to your Felix account and messaging the practitioner for that specific prescription.

Yes, if you selected a package we will still ship all other drugs you were prescribed as scheduled. If you didn’t select a package, we will have your medication filled and shipped to you as soon as the pharmacy is able to obtain more stock.

You can request a medication change by going to Treatments, clicking “View details” on your prescription, and using the “Change my treatment plan” feature. You can also reach out to your healthcare practitioner at any time to discuss your treatment plan. Practitioners may take 1-2 days to respond to messages, so secure messaging should not be used for emergencies. If you’re having an emergency or suicidal thoughts, please call 911 or attend the emergency department as appropriate.

If you are experiencing side effects, please message your healthcare practitioner. They will respond generally within 1-2 business days. Discontinue use if necessary, or seek in person care for urgent or concerning symptoms. Your Felix practitioner can work with you to create a new treatment plan. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately or proceed to your nearest emergency department.

When a drug is backordered, it means that the drug manufacturer does not have any of that drug in stock to provide the pharmacies with.

We will have your medication filled and shipped to you as soon as the pharmacy is able to obtain more stock. Please note, if your medication is part of a larger treatment package the backordered medication will be shipped with the next refill, or when the pharmacy stock has been replenished.

Although Felix offers both brand name and generic version of most medications, we are advocates of generic medication. Generic medications are more affordable and are more likely to be covered by your insurance plan. The generic medications we provide have the same active ingredients as their brand name counterparts, but with a smaller price tag. But the choice is always yours!
